Care consultations are usually helpful to individuals who have been diagnosed with a chronic or life-threatening illness, adult children and grandchildren who are caring for elders in the family, and spouses who provide support to their ill/disabled partners.
During this process, a thorough biopshychosocial assessment is conducted to determine areas in need of additional support. In subsequent care consultation meetings, I provide knowledge and expertise about resources for care and services depending on the situation and personal preferences.
